After 12 years in Washington State, I returned to my hometown to see what kind of a difference I could make for a community that I love. Growing up in the family business (office supplies! Yay!!!), I was always quite taken with the local businesses in this area, the Downtown Merchants Association events, the politics that are pervasive - I enjoyed it all. As an adult moving back into the community after a long stint in the big city, I've been especially thankful for the opportunity to bring many of the lessons I learned as an Internet marketer in Seattle to businesses and organizations in my community.

My particular passion lies in education and non-profit marketing. As an active member in many organizations, boards and committees in Alamogordo, I am faced with the need for cost-effective marketing strategies geared specifically toward the community I live in. Our community is unique is both its strengths and challenges. My goal, both personally and professionally, is to put my energy toward community growth and I hope that, in some small way, my efforts will result in a stronger community for my children to enjoy.
